Probably all true, but you've gotten away from the point of going back to the Big East. It make absolutely no sense to do it. Given how much the students currently subsidize the athletic department, it would likely not be worth it to move the the Big East just for $2M more. That's a small drop in a big bucket. Our football as an independent would be a nightmare, not that it sort of isn't already.
